For folks with a hearty sense of adventure, there is no finer vacation than a classic Wilderness Horse Pack Trip in the Wind River Mountains. Our Guided Pack Trip allows you to enjoy riding, hiking, fly fishing or just relaxing while camping in the heart of the mountains. Our guides prepare wonderful meals, tend camp, wrangle horses and guide you on rides/hikes from basecamp each day.

With your goals & abilities in mind, we will tailor the itinerary to best suit your family or group. We have designed trips specifically for painters, photographers, serious fly fishermen, yoga retreats, outdoor enthusiasts and family adventurers. As outdoor educators, we share our knowledge of the local ecosystem, horsemanship, backcountry camping, navigation, edible plants and more. We furnish all camp equipment and food. You only need to bring your sleeping bag/pad, personal clothing and optional fishing gear. This is our deluxe trip, let us do the work.

Individuals or small groups can also sign onto a Specialty Trip. Customized Guided Pack Trips are also a great combo with our Mountain Ranch Vacation. Spend the first part of the trip at the ranch as a "warm-up", riding and enjoying ranch life with the wranglers and staff; then we pack up and ride into the wilderness for an overnight camping experience. July and August 2024

Groups of four people or more:
6 Day - $3350/adult - $3100/child age 6-12
5 Day - $2950/adult - $2700/child age 6-12
4 Day - $2550/adult - $2300/child age 6-12

Groups less than four people:
6 Day - $3850/adult - $3600/child age 6-12
5 Day - $3350/adult - $3100/child age 6-12
4 Day - $2850/adult - $2600/child age 6-12

(Price does not include 5% tax and a suggested gratuity.)

*If you’d like to reserve a night at the ranch before the start of your pack trip, the cost is $125/person for cabin(s) + dinner + breakfast. We strongly suggest this as it is a great way to get settled in, plan with your guides and enjoy a night of ranch life. You can also choose to extend the trip a bit by staying a night at the ranch on the tail end of the trip for the same cost.

HOW TO BOOK A TRIP:

  1. Please submit a RESERVATION REQUEST outlining what you would like to do. We will confirm dates of availability with you.

  2. Only after confirming with us through email, please have everyone in your group submit this RESERVATION FORM.

  3. Everyone in your group must also sign this DIGITAL WAIVER.

  4. Please pay the 25% DEPOSIT once we have confirmed the amount with you.
