Guided Pack Trips

For folks with a hearty sense of adventure, there is no finer vacation than a classic Wilderness Horse Pack Trip in the Wind River Mountains. Our Guided Pack Trip allows you to enjoy riding, exploring, fly fishing or just relaxing while our guides prepare wonderful meals, tend camp and wrangle horses for you.

With your goals & abilities in mind, we'll tailor the itinerary to suit your family or group. We've designed trips specifically for painters, photographers, serious fly fishermen, yoga retreats, outdoor enthusiasts and family adventurers. As outdoor educators, we share our knowledge of fishing, wildlife, tracks, trees, wildflowers and birds. We furnish all the camp equipment and food, you only need to bring your sleeping bag, fishing gear and personal clothing. This is our deluxe trip, let us do the work. We recommend 5 to 7 days.

Guided Pack Trips are also a great combo with our Mountain Ranch Vacation. Spend a couple days at the ranch as a "warm-up", riding and enjoying ranch life with the wranglers and staff; then we pack up and ride into wilderness camp for the real camping experience, exploring the high country of the Wind Rivers. July and August 2019

6 Day - $2520/adult - $2220/child age 6- 14
5 Day - $2150/adult - $1900/child age 6-14
4 Day - $1780/adult - $1580/child age 6-14

Groups less than 4 people:
6 Day - $3200/adult - $2600/child age 6-14
5 Day - $2700/adult - $2200/child age 6-14
4 Day - $2200/adult - $1800/child age 6-14

Hiking Pack Trip: 5 day - $2100/person

Please add 5% tax/service charge, plus a suggested gratuity of 15-20% to be shared among the wranglers, cooks and guide.

To confirm a reservation, please send in a 25% deposit (in the form of a check) with a Reservation Form for each member of the group.
