Ranch-based Experience
This trip welcomes women from all stages of life to join together for a rejuvenating mountain adventure. Staying in log cabins, glamping tents, or sheepwagons at the ranch, we will eat meals in the lodge and go out on rides each day.
We will offer shorter or longer rides each day, so whether your goal is to have a restorative experience or a challenging adventure, we can scale each day up or down to meet each person's goals. There will be opportunity for fly fishing and hiking, or you can opt to take personal time to relax, meditate, journal, etc. Each evening, we eat dinner at 6:00pm with a short digestion hike offered at sunset. Informal, comfortable and welcoming, come to the ranch ready to connect with a group of diverse women while exploring together in rugged, inspiring landscape. The group size is limited to 10 participants and needs at least 4 participants to run.
This trip was created by Jessie Allen, the owner/operator of the Diamond 4 Ranch. Jessie first started leading these retreats in 2014, after spending her lifetime working on the ranch and seeing very few all-women groups sign up for trips. She created the Women’s Wellness Trips as a way to welcome women from all stages of life to be immersed in the wilderness, focusing on horsemanship, outdoor skills, health & wellness and building community.
Jessie started the Women’s Wellness Trips as wilderness pack trips, but she created this cabin-based option for a more comfortable experience. The cabin-based retreat still offers an incredibly immersive experience in the mountains, as the ranch is Wyoming’s highest elevation guest ranch off-the-grid at 9,200ft, but it allows for you to sleep in a bed and have a shower! This is a great entry-point for gals who want to experience the Wyoming wilderness but aren’t so sure about camping.
TRAVEL: Arrive at the ranch at 4:00pm on July 19, depart on July 24 by 10:00am. Closest airport is Riverton, WY - you can use a shuttle service from Riverton to the ranch - or fly into Jackson Hole, Rock Springs, Casper, Denver, or Salt Lake City and rent a vehicle.

After completing those three steps, you’re signed up! We will then follow up with helpful trip planning information and an invoice. The remaining balance will be due two weeks before the trip. We’re excited to meet you in the Wind River Mountains!
